Grupo Granjas Marinas is committed to supply high quality products that are grown with sustainable processes, less environmental impact, without the use of additives and preservatives, and to meet the highest quality and food safety standards set by the different audit organizations.
BAP
GGM is a BAP four-star certified company. In 2017, we added the fourth star with the certification of our hatchery facility (GML) and 4 external contracted hatcheries.
ASC
Sustainability is a priority for GGM. GGM is very pleased to the achieved the full Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification across its entire operation. Since obtaining the certification we have successfully added 2 external contracted plants.
BRC
Food safety is extremely important for us. The GGM processing plant, Empacadora de Productos Acuaticos San Lorenzo, continues to maintain the BRCGS certification.
SMETA
We are proud of our Gold grading at a high level given to us by the SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA)
FAIR TRADE
In 2019 GGM obtained a seal of guarantee that works as a positive distinctive offering the consumer security about the ethical values of the product.
Fair Trade ensures that producers and workers receive fair prices and wages, work in safe conditions, protect the environment, and obtain community development funds to improve their lives.
